About Us

Malaysian Food Guide started in 2006 as a review website for our favourite food. We somehow grow to love writing reviews on good food and ever since then we could not stop doing this. Malaysian Food Guide writes about good tasting food, without compromising quality.

Malaysian Food Guide is made up of our main food taster, Dr. Wong who holds a PhD in bio molecular genetic areas. She has a keen sense of smell and taste. Anything that goes through her taste bud goes through a human “bio-analyzer” that picks up MSG and not so fresh ingredient. You have to be a great cook to make it on her list of good food.

Then there is me. The guy with the camera who does not know much about photography. If your food doesn’t look as good, that’s because I have no training in this area. I am just fascinated at how good food looks on the camera. I am also the guy who setup the IT supporting Malaysian Food Guide. Of course I do enjoy good food too. And not to mention a great cup of coffee.

We do sometimes have guest food taster to join us in our ventures. This is so that we can continue to validate and share our experiences with our fellow food lovers!
