Last week we visited the SS2Two Mall,  SS2 Mall is rather new with  fairly few tenants but there are rows of restaurants and cafe  just waiting to be discovered. Out of so many choices, we were attracted by the big and bright red color signboard of Henry Cook. Out of curiosity, we went to have a look of what types of food they are offering.

The award winning stuffed chicken roll caught my attention. We went in straight and  ordered stuffed chicken roll with yellow fragrant rice set -RM18.00 and also beef stew with baked herb potatoes – RM25.00. The set served together with mushroom soup and ice lemon barley. We ordered also another glass of fruit punch – RM4.00.

Not long after, they served the mushroom soup. Hmm…bit of too salty for me…and the taste was rather plain, only salty…The drinks were too sweet and we feel like drinking the sugar water. We don’t expect much after the soup and beverages…

Stuffed Chicken Roll with mixed salad and yellow fragrant rice-RM21.00; with baked herb potatoes-RM22.00

 Out of our expectation again, the stuffed chicken roll was delicious! So was the fragrant rice. The portion was really big. The is award winning dish at Food Asia, no wonder it tastes so good…

Beef stew with mix salad and baked herb potatoes-RM25.00

We love the stew beef too especially the sourish gravy  makes perfect match with yellow fragrant rice.  The beef chunks stewed with tomatoes, potatoes and also carrots. The meat if so tender and juicy. Not to forget the real spicy chili sauce, it heated up the whole things.

Overall, the food are excellent and only the beverages make less sweet, Henry Cook would be a great choice to hang out with friend and have a decent meal with affordable price. The interior and nice and classy. Don’t expect fine dining level kind of interior, but it is definitely above average from your regular kopitiam.
