We noticed this nice looking café one one day on our way to SS2. Mojo cafe is located directly above 7-11 and same row with Mc Donalds, or upstairs of Geylang Lor9 Frog Porridge. We were quite skeptical at first as many café mushrooming all over Klang valley this recent years and most of them offering not so good quality food and drinks.
Mojo Upstairs serves a variety of fusion food. We ordered Mojo’s pineapple fried rice set–RM16.90, that came together with jasmine green tea and dessert of the day. Besides that, we had also Chicken schnitzel –RM22.90, walnut brownies -RM8.90 and also a cup of cappuccino.
Pineapple fried rice is served in a hollowed out pineapple. The fried rice is load with chunks of pineapples, cashew nut, chicken and prawns. The sweet and sourish taste combined together, it’ll surely make you come back for more.
Chicken schnitzel – RM22.90 The chicken schnitzel is a popular Austrian dish made with boneless chicken and coated in breadcrumbs and fried. The cheese melted on top of the chicken making it so appealing and tantalizing. It is actually chicken layered with a cheese. The cheese contrasted perfectly with the breaded fried chicken.
Dessert of the day that came together witht he pineapple fried rice set – mango pudding. Pudding is real smooth with mild taste of mango, the sweetness from the canned fruits blend in well with the pudding. Perfect!
Walnut brownies – RM8.90 We ordered another walnut brownies with vanilla ice cream as dessert. The brownies is a little too sweet and the ice cream is probably something you can get from the supermarket.
Nice presentation of cuppuccino, must try ! Last but not least, the normal looking cappuccino happens to be the protagonist of the dinner. The cappucino is specially brewed by Italian Santini coffee beans. Unlike other cappucino from star bucks or coffee bean, this cup is gentlemanly smooth.
Rate: 7/10, cuppuccino:9.5/10
