Be Lohas is an organic vegetarian shop next to BMS organic shop in Damansara Utama or better known as Damansara Uptown. Well, let’s just say, they are half on each side of the shop. Lohas stands for lifestyle of health and sustainability, which means healthy lifestyle, environmental friendly and sustainable living. The Chinese has intelligently translated the term to ‘ Le Huo’ which means living happily.
The objective of Be Lohas Cafe is to introduce healthy, high energy food and environmentally friendly concept to everyone through their vegetarian and fat-free delicacies on their menu. Be Lohas cafe serves a variety of delicious, healthy, wholesome meal at affordable price. Their main specialty is curry mee. The curry mee is cooked without coconut milk or better known as santan, and yet the aroma was so appealing…must try!

Organic Nasi Lemak – RM8.50
The rice is cooked with brown rice and it is high in fibre and mineral. This nasi lemak comes with sambal (fresh dry chili to blend it to sambal- quite a challenge for those who loves spicy food) and lots of raw vegetables. Very nice and filling.
High Energy Sandwich – RM6.50
Using GMO Free soy protein, this high energy sandwich is made to taste with “tuna” spread. It taste the same if not better than the real tuna and is filled with organic vegetable and sprout. This high energy sandwich is suitable for anyone who wish to keep a diet without feeling tired and hungry after lunch hour. Imagine you can actually stay awake after lunch!
Soya Curry Mee – RM9.50
The main ingredients of the curry mee or noodle are tumeric, ginger, onion and leek and of course organic soya milk. Using Organic Soya Milk to replace the santan or coconut milk, needless to say this curry mee is much healthier than those with santan. The best part is the fragrance still remain, if not much better than those with santan, I must say.
Be Lohas cafe provides another alternative to all healthy conscious eaters with lots of yummy food to choose from. Unlike the regular vegetarian food diner, Be Lohas has placed itself a notch above the rest. Be sure to pay Be Lohas a visit if you are into healthy and yummy food.
