Instead of shark fin soup, we chose spinach with minced beef. My friend chose sea cucumber soup.

Stir fried broccoli, simple and delicious taste.

Another simple yet delicious dish, stir fried bitter gourd with salty egg.

Fried eel with spicy sauce. This one is from the ‘Si Chuan’ district. The good thing about this dish was the eel was nicely sliced, boneless. Not too spicy, nice.

Thin slices of Shan Dong pork, tasted like English bacon, another surprise.

Steam fish fillet in Fu Jian style. Most of the Fu Jian district cuisine are steamed or stewed. Suitable for even little kids. This steamed fish was nicely done with simple ingredients, teh texture of the fish was soft and the most important was no fishy smell.

Homemade taufu with petola, this was another specialty from the mainland China, local people do not use such combination.

We ended or meal with soya hor fun ( which is keow teow). It was a bit salty for us but overall, the hor fun was smooth and again yummy.
