Pannaz is a newly opened restaurant serving delectable western food at very very affordable price, besides that, the simple menu had offerings ranging from starters to traditional meal such as nasi ulam with grilled ayam percik, dessert…Another must try from Pannaz is the tapas (in my humble opinion
)
We got to know about this restaurant by a friend of Pannaz. He emailed MalaysianFoodGuide.com to recommend this restaurant which belong to his friend. After I surfed the website of Pannaz.com.my, I decided to give it a try. We went there on a weekday night, the location is rather easy to find. For those who know Damansara Perdana, it is a corner shop beside the main road, take the first left turn after you see Citibank on your right side.
The decor is rather simple and yet comfy…There is a laid back atmosphere for those who prefer privacy…

We started our meal the Spanish way by having tapas. We Chunky Potato Chips with Cheezy Dip Tapa means “lid” or “cover” in Spanish, usually bread placed on top of a drink to protect it from fruit flies, at some point it became a habit to top this “cover” with a snack!
Chunky Potato Chips with Cheezy Dip – RM7.00.
The potatoes are starchy, it makes a great complement when dipped with the cheese. Simple and delicious starter.
Tomato Soup – RM4.50
It has a smooth mixture of blended fresh tomatoes and a creamy base. It is tasty with mild souvrish of the tomatoes.
Fresh Garden salad – RM9.00
Crispy romaine salad, lightly tossed with pannaz’s special vinaigrette , the dressings are rather special, tantalising the taste buds with mixture of minced garlic, ginger and vinegar.
Nasi Ulam with Grilled Chicken Perchik Style – RM12.90
The chicken was tender and nicely cooked.The nasi was mixed from a series of local salad leaves such as daun kadok, pucuk paku, bunga kantan and coconut kerisik.
Nyonya Fried Rice with grilled chicken, sunny side-up egg & fish crackers – RM12.90
Again, Pannaz fried rice deserved good credits, the simple combination make an unforgettable dining experience at Pannaz especially the nicely grilled chicken.
Pannaz BBQ Lamb Chop, minted salad, lemon wedge – RM17.90
Wow, it is a real value money buy. At such a price you can get such succulent and tenderly grilled of lamb chop, not to mention the delicious and favorable mint sauce… The tender lamb almost melted int the mouth and it was done just right…Highly recommend!!!
Overall, Pannaz is one of the best serving restaurant so far. It offers simple good quality ingredients and food cooked with passion without burning a hole in your pocket.
