Hong Kong Dessert located at Taman Usahawan, Kepong. This Hong Kong Dessert serves more than 100 different types of sweet soups ( tong sui) and desserts. The menu is extensive, some of them really worth trying and are not to be missed. This Hong Kong style cafe is attracting customers in droves. Folks are flocking here especially afternoon weekends. After some time deciding on the menu,
Cold sago with water melon, RM5.00 The price tag is a bit hefty, too sweet for me, the combination does not blend well.
Beancurd dessert, RM3.00 It is really smooth and nice, still little pricey I think.
Cold Black Sesame, RM3.20(small)This is my favorite, the sesame is grind in traditional way, very smooth and with strong sesame fragrance, yummy. Sesame is high in calcium too, so ladies, have more black sesame…
Cold Mung Bean Sweet Soup with Lotus seed , RM3.50 (small) Very nice combination.
Red Bean dessert, RM4.50 Not too sweet, not too strong of santan flavor, a must for red bean lover.
Cold Black Sesame with Mung Bean,RM3.20 (small)Another perfect combination, it is suitable for people who cannot take mung bean (due to cool body in the concept of Chinese traditional medicine), black sesame is ‘heaty’, combination of cool and heaty will neutralize each other.
In my personal opinion, desserts here are better than KTZ. Overall this Hong Kong Dessert serves special and various types of sweet soups in a nice environment, though it is a little pricey, it is still a good recommendation to head to when cravings for something sweet yet healthy dessert hits you. And of course, it is also a suitable hang out place after your romantic Valentine’s dinner
Happy Valentine
