Winter Warmers at The Curve offers not only truly unique English – style afternoon tea, it also offers various affordable wholesome lunch and dinner set. Winter Warmers is a popular place for afternoon tea, with nicely decorated environment. Even the tea pots and plates all with floral pattern.
My friend ordered afternoon tea set for one, RM15.90 and add another RM1.00 to change the English tea to caffeine free fruit tea. I ordered the spaghetti set with a steaming pot of original black tea, RM16.90.
Earl Grey Tea
Salad
Main course -Chicken spaghetti
Spaghetti set which serves together with a plate of salad, main course and a pot of Earl Grey black tea.The spaghetti was nice with not so creamy sauce, and had strong aroma of homemade tomatoes taste. The Earl Grey tea was the best I had so far, beyond comprehensive…
Caffeine fruit tea -Very refreshing and pleasant especially after addition of honey.
Afternoon Tea For 1 – RM15.90
- A delightful spread consisting of a serve of special selected Winter Warmers: Scone, cake, sandwich, cookies, fresh seasonal fruits and a steaming pot of original black tea. I like the cake, three distinct layers of fresh cream and coffee.
Overall, Winter Warmers is a cozy cafe with good quality food at affordable price. Again, they serves very good black tea and caffeine fruit tea.

1I had visited the Winter Warmers at Sunway Pyramid once, & I don’t think I’ll actually go back again. The service was great, but the scone was a disaster. I’m a scone lover, & Winter Warmers with the autenthic English afternoon tea as a selling point really shouldn’t screwed up the scone. The one I had was so salty & it’s salty in a little bit weird way…I wonder if they used salted butter during the production…Also, they only served my scone with strawberry jam & salted butter. I thought I suppose to have whipped cream served on side too but not until I asked for it. Well, although the cream was actually overwhipped.
I’m not sure if other Winter Warmers scone taste the same, I guess it should be as this kind of chain restaurant seems to have a main production kitchen. I never tried the other dishes & maybe they are good. But the fact is I die for my scone & it’s the main charac in the afternoon tea!

2Venny;
I think the scone at The Curve one is not that bad, though it is not that excellent. The taste quite plain. I still prefer its’ cake rather than the scone.
