Daorae BBQ restaurant has few branches around KL and Klang Valley…They serve authentic korean dishes…Daorae serves high quality food with simple, relax environment…The other good thing about Korean restaurant is the unlimited refill of Ban-Chan (small dishes served along with meal). The most popular and common small dishes is Kimchi.
We ordered one Pork Ju-mul-luk (pork slice BBQ) -RM27.00, one Dak-gla-bi (chicken BBQ) – RM27.00, various types of cold noodles and warm noodles…
Some of the small dishes being served …
Kimchi – cold, spicy, crunchy
Another Kimchi, this one made from white turnip.
Another small dish…hmm this one I know, it is called ladies finger…
See the slices of pork being displayed…nice layer of meat and fats…
Dak-gla-bi (Chicken BBQ), the meat is pre – marinated with sauce made from rice wine, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar while the spicy variation uses house spicy marinate sauce. Very succulent and tender.
The fresh green shallots ( spicy, and crunchy) is recommended to eat with the chicken BBQ.
Hmm…wrap the meat and the garlic and dip the sauce and put it in your mouth…Yummy
This is complimentary from the chef, Korean Pancake, quite different from the normal pancake, it is thin layer of flour plus slices of carrots, cucumber, chilies…
Various types of noodles range from RM16.00 – RM18.00
Cold bulk wheat noodles served in a cold stainless steel bowl, with iced broth (combination of chicken stock, slices of pears,cucumber)which is superb combination. These noodles are believed effective in release heat, suitable for those who eat lots of meat…
At the end of our meal, we were served with rice drink and watermelon. Daorae is another Korean restaurant which offers nice quality food with affordable price.

7Wow! All dishes look really good…
~~~~~~~~
Too bad they’re non-halal. Could anyone recommend a good Korean bbq restaurant that serves halal food? Tx.
