I used to go to Pudu to have original mainland Chinese cuisine, be it ShangHai style, BeiJing style, SzeChuan syle and also Dong Bei style. Untill recently, I found Perfect Gourmet Restaurant (Tag with perfect authentic Chinese cuisine with affordable price) in Kepong town, they serve nice Xiao Long Bao小笼包 ( nicer than Dragon-i and Ding Tai Feng) and I like their hand pull noodle (’la mian’拉面) as well. Moreover, they have super set meal at only RM19.90 (2-3 persons) or RM39.90 (4-6 persons).

This is their significant dishes - Deep fried chicken with SzeChuan peppercorns “La zi ji” 乐山辣子鸡 Very crispy…Not too spicy

This is Fried Chinese rice cake with lily buds 香炒白粿 ,it is called ‘Bai Nian Hao He” 百年好合- Normal Shang Hai food, tasted well.

You wont know it was actually fish fillet, so tender…

Sze Chuan spicy taufu 四川巴蜀辣子豆腐 It has kinds of sweet and refreshing aroma…but it didnt taste hot or spicy.

Since I tried their Northern Chinese style Xiao Long Bao 华夏鲜汁小笼包 on my previous visit (which is absolutely delicious), this time I try Northern Chinese style pan fried dumpling 北方开口锅贴(RM6.90) ,hmm…still prefer Xiao Long Bao 小笼包, a must try !!!

This BeiJing hand pulled noodle 北京炸酱面(RM7.90) was really good, the noodle was round and thick, and was really elastic
