Balance of salt and oil is perfect... far cry from the so-called vegetarian 杂饭 crap u get outside. Anyone who eats at 中央大厦 next to KLCC will know what I'm talking about.

The rendang potatoes are deliciously pulpy, sort of like KFC mashed potatoes, except that these aren't mashed, rather they are cooked until like that. Niccccccce......

Durianberry: Yes, most of the vegetarian food are unhealthy and oily...this one is different, all food served here are fresh and healthy, no msg, no excessive oil...The 'fake shark's fin soup effect might be due to the thickening of the custord flour...

toniXe: Vegetarian food is just normal vegetables, various types of mushroom, beans, nuts and fruits...Go for vegetarian one in a week (at least) is good for our body especially our liver...Modern food has burdened our liver so hard...Liver need rest too :)
Cows nowaday no longer feed on grass...that's the reason of mad cow disease, I think...

Yup! The first time time I had vegetarian food, they were all so oily. The first impression deterred me from trying for a 2nd or 3rd. But Indian vegetarian is ok and I enjoy it a lot. I had vegetarian satay in Jln Tun Sambathan which costs RM1 per stick and they were very tasty. I guess you have to a little more for good vegetarian food :)

The Hot & Spicy Sour Soup is like what my mom used to make and I love it to bits. My sis and I call it "fake shark's fin soup". Hehe
