Here we come to Medan Selera Happy City again, Medan Selera Happy City is a food court situated just beside Carrefour, Metro Prima. This place is full of variety of food of good quality, it has about 40 stalls with delicious food and affordable price. Some of the specialties are Portugese grilled fish,cuttle fish with kangkong, roasted prok,popiah,CaoCao BBQ lamb, grilled chicken wing,nasi lemak,best la mian in town, shanghai food and many more.

As promised, we tried the Shanghai food – the fish dumpling noodles (上 æµ· æ²™ 县 扁 肉) and also the peanut noodles(花 生 ä¼´ 面).

Fish dumpling soup with hand made noodles – RM4.50.

The skin of the fish dumplings were so smooth and the fish paste were so fresh !!! I thought I was eating Maggi mee, wondering the noodles were the first generation of Maggi mee. It has the best bite, better than Maggi mee. Do not forget the accompanied chili sauce, it was so hot and spicy..

Peanut noodles – RM4.00.

I have not tried this in Malaysia. Peanut noodles is common in mainland China ( pure mixture of peanut paste with noodles).This one is Malaysia’ version – with slices of pork and less peanut…overall still delicious and special. Worth trying…
